Most endeavors in the course of human events follow a tawdry path of initial enthusiasm; frustration; a hunt for the guilty; prosecution of the innocent; and rewarding the underserving. Before all is said and done, I can see Dubyah hanging medals around the necks of the Louisiana political cabal, when what they truly deserve is an old fashioned necktie party.

Homocide eh, doesn't that require intent?

"Homicide" is not a crime. It's "murder" that requires intent, which can be satisfied in different ways, such as crimimal negligence or reckless disregard for human life, as well as actual intent to kill.

I saw a history last night on Louisiana politics and it reminded my how very banana republic my poor home state is. One assasinated governor, one insane, three in prison and counting.

So, where will the MSM carry the story?

Page 47, below the fold.

Will Russert correct it in a big way, especially after he got hoaxed?

No.
