...it's not dark yet, but it's gettin' there...
i live in the Central Valley and my mom lives in L.A. We're both registered Republicans. We sent in our absentee ballot requests on the same day. i got mine last week and i voted last Thursday.
i talked to my Mom last night.
She never got her ballot . . .
Oh shit! Somebody call Jesse Jackson!!! Nevermind, that bastard will probably try to justify why your mother's right to vote isn't a priority......

We meet again!
I guess what is good for the goose is good for the gander. 15 thousand absentee ballots never reached their intended in heavly democratic Broward county FL. Conspiracy?
Posted by: mike on Nov. 1, 2004I recommend getting on the permanent absentee ballot list. That way you don't have to send in the request form each election. The only "catch" is the first time you don't return your ballot, you'll be dropped from the list and have to reapply for the permanent status.
Posted by: Chrees on Nov. 1, 2004Mike, that's actually 58,000. But I've never understood how the consistent staggering incompetence of Democratic Supervisors of Elections in Broward and Palm Beach are somehow a GOP conspiracy.
